PwC Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland is seeking a seasoned professional to join our dynamic Consulting team at Manager / Associate Director level. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry's leading experts, delivering groundbreaking solutions across a diverse range of industries.   • Drive Financial Strategy: Develop and implement strategic financial plans that optimise business performance and drive growth across diverse industries.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, enhancing their skills in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial and operational analyses, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to support clients' strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver comprehensive consulting solutions, such as finance transformation, cost optimisation, and performance improvement projects.


Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

  • 7+ years of experience in consulting and finance, including 2-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven project-based experience from inception to completion, with a focus on business development and relationship management.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to think critically about client problems, structure solutions, and facilitate buy-in.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP/Finance Management systems; familiarity with project management methodologies like PRINCE2 and Agile is a plus.
  • Because demonstrable financial literacy is a pre-requisite for this position, we are looking for candidates with relevant certifications such as CA, CFA, or CPA.
  • Adaptable, responsive, and skilled in engaging clients to identify and develop solutions.
