Our client is seeking a Senior Company Accountant to join their team in Auckland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities, from financial accounting and management reporting to project analysis and bank funding reports. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute significantly to the company's growth and success, working closely with internal management and external stakeholders.

As a Senior Company Accountant, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for:

• Compiling and prepare all information for month end and year-end reports
• Preparing timely and accurate monthly management reports for the group
• Preparing monthly property finance loan book performance report
• Ensuring full tax compliance (GST, Income Tax and Provisional Income Tax, RWT, NRWT and AIL)
• Preparing annual statutory accounts for the group
• Planning and preparing budgets for the group
• Providing financial analysis and decision support report as required
• Managing the group's AP & AR function with the help of Office Coordinator

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Company Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in financial accounting and management reporting. The ideal candidate will also have:

• CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance regulations
• Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts and insightful financial analysis
• Previous BAS Accounting experience in an Accounting firm
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal management and external stakeholders
