Auckland Council is seeking a Fixed Term Part time Digital Print & Production Operator to join our Digital Print Production team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting print operators with finishing tasks, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality digital printing and finishing services to Auckland Council Group. Your role will be focused on assisting with the finishing process, helping to deliver professional results while maintaining the highest production standards. You will work closely with the team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, meeting the business needs and customer expectations.

He kōrero mōu: About you
In this position, your primary responsibility will be assisting the print operators in the finishing stages of digital printing. You will support various finishing tasks to ensure the final product meets the required standards. These tasks will include:

  • Trimming, binding, folding, and other finishing processes.
  • Maintaining the quality of the print output by ensuring colour accuracy, consistency, and adherence to production standards.
  • You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify job requirements and ensure a smooth workflow throughout the finishing process. In addition, you will be involved in:
    • Troubleshooting and checking print prior to finishing, ensuring proper formatting.
    • Assisting in managing print supplies and monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages.
    • Your role will also involve ensuring the print production area remains safe, clean, and organised, in line with health and safety regulations.
