Are you ready to make a real impact in your community? Become a lifeguard and be the key to ensuring a safe and fun environment for our customers at our fantastic aquatic facilities. As a pool lifeguard, your keen observation skills, patience, and people-oriented nature will shine, allowing you to handle any situation with confidence and calmness. Take charge as you proactively supervise, interact positively with visitors, educate them on pool rules, and swiftly respond to any First Aid emergencies that may arise. And that's not all – you'll also play a vital role in keeping the pool and its surroundings clean and inviting at all times. He kōrero mōu: About you
Are you up for the Challenge? As a Lifeguard, we want you to have some strong swimming skills to rock the pool! You'll need to pass a swimming test in order to be selected.
- Swim 200m in under 6 minutes
- Swim 25m sidestroke
- Swim 50m breaststroke
- Retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool
- Tread water for 5 minutes
In addition to your swimming skills, we're looking for individuals with proven administration and communication skills, a track record of providing outstanding customer service, and excellent maturity and reliability.
As you'll be working on a variable roster, access to a reliable method of transport is essential!
