About the role
Our Wellington office is looking for enthusiastic and talented administrator / secretary to join our team!
This is a full time (8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday) role supporting one of our legal teams, as well as being an integral part of our overall support team.
We are interested in speaking to candidates who are looking to step into a busy role, who are highly organised and build relationships easily. This role will see you:
- Supporting partners as well as the wider team of lawyers
- Preparing documentation; legal documents, presentations, reports, statements
- Formatting documents
- Liaising with clients
- Administering monthly billing processes
- A wide range of other administrative and PA duties as required
What makes our secretaries most successful is adaptability, sound judgement/common sense, good interpersonal skills and a willingness to pitch in and help. Our ideal candidate has:
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- A good level of knowledge in the Microsoft Office package including excel and PowerPoint.
- An eye for detail and a high standard of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A “can-do” and happy to help attitude with the ability to be flexible and operate as part of a team.
- Some IT know how – experience with Zoom/Teams.
- A proactive approach to your work - the ability to work on tasks unprompted and anticipate needs.
- Impeccable time management skills and an ability to prioritise.
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other appropriate mediums would be an advantage.
Training will be given, so experience in a similar role is not essential.
