Mō te tūranga | About the Role
The Enterprise Metadata Enablement Service supports the platform for Data Warehouse, Data Quality, Data Lineage and Data Privacy.
This role will involve data engineering duties, technical and domain expertise to both users and IT employees, covering all aspects of the design, build, maintain, configuration, testing, production support and enhancement of the above.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
• Solid experience with any of the Informatica platform tools like PowerCenter and related component technologies
• Implementation, maintenance and support of complex ETL pipelines
• Ability to implement source controls and versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code
• Experience with working on Oracle SQL/PLSQL
• Experience programming in Unix scripting / Python/ Java
• Working knowledge of GIT (principles, commands) and exposure to version control tools
• Performs source system analysis as required
• Diagnose and solve technical issues that may arise during the deployment life cycle
• Ability to apply effective Quality Assurance and process improvement activities
• Demonstrated experience of Agile methodology
• Proven ability to own tasks, issues & plans and manage / drive them through to completion
• Experience in payments and core banking systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to join On call production support roster
• Ability to learn and work independently toward set goals
