Join a young, dynamic, and fast-growing team as our Global Sales & Business Development Manager. We’re looking for a driven and organized person to spearhead our growth across existing and new markets. You’ll map out a global business development strategy and be hungry to achieve sales revenue targets, while managing and growing a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships, developing strategic plans, and driving sales growth through both existing and new business opportunities. We have the growth momentum and a pipeline of exciting projects - you’ll have the mandate to sell them in and grow them across the globe.
You’ll work closely with MOXX founders, the Marketing and Operations teams to drive sales and supply chain excellence for our retail partners. This role would suit someone who has a proven sales track record, knowledge of the grocery sector and wants to be part of one of NZ’s fastest growing FMCG start-ups as we continue to expand internationally.
Role will include but not be limited to:
· Managing and growing a portfolio of international clients to achieve business revenue targets.
· Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
· Understanding customer needs and proactively addressing them.
· Developing and implementing account strategies to achieve growth each year.
· Negotiating up-front contracts and pricing.
· Securing additional brand space and out of aisle features to drive brand growth.
· Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in global markets.
· Pitching our brands and products on a global stage, working closely with our product teams to secure commitments from retailers.
· Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients, brand growth and portfolio optimisations.
· Analysing sales reports and acting by either rectifying issues or leveraging to driven growth on other accounts.
· Staying up to date on industry trends and competitor activities.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING & WHO’S A GOOD FIT?
· 2-4 years’ experience in Sales and/or Business Development, with a proven record of delivering growth
· Knowledge of the FMCG/Grocery sector – Australian experience a huge plus
· Must be organized, hungry and have a hustler mentality
· Strong communication skills to manage external and internal stakeholders.
· Proficiency in excel and attention to detail.
· Can learn fast, be adaptable, solve problems and manage multiple tasks.
· Highly proactive and can deliver sales leads and pitches autonomously.
· Excited about working and driving growth in a start-up environment.
