Job Description
We are seeking an organized and efficient Reception/DA to join our team in Palmerston North, New Zealand.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing a professional and supportive experience for all visitors and clients. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, with a good sense of humour. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner while streamlining office operations. Multitasking is essential for this position.

The main role would be reception, but we would also train you in assisting Dentists so you have a well-rounded knowledge of Dental.

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and courteous manner
• Answer incoming calls, screen and direct calls to appropriate personnel
• Schedule patient appointments
• Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable
• Perform data entry tasks, maintain databases, and update records accurately
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and mail distribution
• Provide general office support to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company in a positive light

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
