We are currently looking for an experienced Tyre Technician to join our team, based in New Lynn.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Fitting and balancing tyres and /or repair tyre punctures.
  • Completing wheel alignments on vehicles.
  • Assisting with tyre stock taking and stock management
  • Dismantling and preparing vehicles for underbody Compliance Inspections
  • Completing minor vehicle repairs and servicing.
  • Preparing and completing relevant documents for vehicles as required
  • Other duties as and when required by management


Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience fitting and balancing tyres
  • A Full NZ Drivers Licence
  • High levels of physical fitness (this can be a physically demanding role)
  • Capable of working in a fast paced, high volume workshop
  • Good communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Great time management and organisational skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment and independently


A remuneration package will be negotiated aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
