Join our One NZ Retail Team as a Floor Lead! At One NZ, we're all about people serving people and connecting communities. As a Floor Lead in our Retail Store, you'll be the go-to person, stepping up to inspire and guide our Customer Champions, and ensuring every customer is feeling satisfied with their One NZ experience. You'll be the driving force behind our sales, helping recruit new team members, and nurturing the growth and development of the team. Plus, you'll keep the store running smoothly, all while contributing to our purpose of creating a better-connected Aotearoa.

This role is based in our Auckland - Lynnmall store, which operates Monday to Sunday, so flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and public holidays is a must.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Lead and Inspire: Support the Retail Lead in guiding a team of passionate Customer Champions.
- Collaborate and Plan: Work closely with the Retail Lead, Area Lead, Market Lead, HRBP, and People & Planning to meet employee resource needs, including creating effective rosters.
- Customer Delight: Ensure every customer leaves thrilled with their One New Zealand Retail experience, with their needs and expectations not just met, but exceeded.
- Drive Sales: Achieve and surpass sales targets with enthusiasm and determination.
- Recruit and Grow: Partner with the Retail Lead and Talent Acquisition team to bring in new team members and foster their growth.
- Develop Talent: Ensure the continuous growth and development of your team alongside the Retail Lead and Enablement team.
- Operational Excellence: Work with the Retail Lead to maintain smooth and efficient store operations.

- Preferred Background: Experience in Retail or Telecommunications.
- Sales Savvy: Proven track record of working to sales targets.
- Customer Service Pro: Strong background in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Leadership Experience: At least 6-12 months of experience in coaching, mentoring, or managing others.
- Aspiring Leader: A genuine desire to grow into a people leadership role.
- Flexible Schedule: Comfortable working rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Tech Enthusiast: Motivated to stay current with technology and pursue informal learning (on the job, via colleagues) to deepen your industry knowledge.
