Job Description

  • Perm, part-time Saturday-Monday, work based in Tauranga.

Work alongside tāngata whaiora to maintain physical, emotional & spiritual wellness. Assist them with meal prep, clean-up & other daily living tasks.

The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
This is a 24-hour per week role working Saturday to Sunday, 8.00am – 4.30pm and Monday, 4.00pm – 12.30am based in Tauranga.

In this role you will:

  • Support people in a mental health respite setting, working individually and as part of a team.
  • Have good people skills and able to work independently and within a wider team.
  • Be busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills.
  • Attending appointments and advocating for people.
  • Might be assisting people to connect with their communities.
  • Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care or helping with everyday tasks.


You | Mōu
Applicants must hold the Level 4 in Mental Health and Wellbeing Certificate or equivalent.
You must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
