We are looking for a positively motivated person to provide sales and technical support to our client and contact base from South Canterbury to Southland.
This position can be tailored to suit a 0.75FTE or full time role, and depending on the applicant tailored to suit their farming experience. Being conversant with either dairy farming or sheep and beef (or both), so as to be comfortably in the world of our customers, is a requirement.
About the role
In this role you will be the primary contact for some customers and the secondary contact for others (where one of our technical consultants is the primary contact). You will be responsible for many administrative tasks including; account application forms, following up product delivery and useage/ requirement, checking on results, taking forward orders as part of annual plans, listening for unmet needs and speaking to what might be possible.
While the envisaged role has both office and on-the-road components, the driving component may be tailored depending on the successful applicant and on their residing location.

You must be someone who loves connecting and building relatedness over the phone, and be innately driven to care for and make a difference to others. You will need to embrace tight accountabilities, and not be phased by long lists, busy customers, and technical conversations!
