Job Description
We are looking for determined candidates who have a passion for fast moving manufacturing and want to learn skills that are in high demand worldwide.
Main requirements of the role are to operate a forklift, batch collecting washed wool, hides and skins. Preparing at industry standards for delivery to further process. Use of knife to hand skin animals which do not meet export standards, while ensuring cleanliness of external belts and area leading to Fellmongery.
We require a labourer to join our busy team and train beyond entry level at our processing plant in Rangiuru, Te Puke.
This is a fast paced and dynamic environment to work in and requires people that are reliable, motivated and fit and healthy with a positive attitude.
Successful applicants must:
- Always put safety first
- Be keen to learn new skills
- Be able to work on a roster including weekends
- Enjoy working in a diverse team, while being able to work independently/unsupervised.
- Be confident operating and hold a valid forklift licence.
- Available to work long hours, with flexible shift patterns.
