With multiple sites throughout greater Auckland we offer a full range of services from general X-Ray to the latest in Nuclear Medicine Therapy and we're still growing!

We're looking for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our Molecular Imaging team on a full-time basis. Based primarily at our PET-CT centre located by Mercy Hospital in Epsom, this position will also be required to provide cover for our sites at Milford and Takapuna. Hours are Monday to Friday only with shifts alternating weekly i.e. 7:00am -3:30pm and 8:30am -5:00pm.

This is a Level 2 position involving some mentoring and coaching within the team, so will suit a confident, composed person with a mature and professional approach.

Key duties include:

  • Present a warm & friendly welcome to all patients & visitors
  • Schedule appointments that best accommodate patient needs
  • Ensure patients are well informed and know what to expect at their visit
  • Process invoices, payments and claims with efficiency and accuracy
  • Collate documentation and maintain records with strict attention to privacy


Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of three years in a customer-facing role, preferably in health care e.g medical reception, bookings, patient flow
  • Experience with COMRAD or other patient management software would be a major advantage
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and knowledge of imaging procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, excellent computer literacy and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong confident interpersonal skills and the ability to engage at all levels.
  • A genuine desire to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of our patients.
