As we continue this growth journey, we have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Architect to join our team to drive the development of architectural artefacts and governance at the AA.
What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
In this role, you will provide thought leadership and strategic direction to deliver innovative solutions that leverage people, processes, and technology to gain a competitive edge. You will define architectural principles, standards, and guardrails in collaboration with the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
As Lead Architect, you will lead and inspire a team of architecture professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance. You will guide and coach team members to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose architectural solutions while promoting professional development. Additionally, you will lead technical strategy, support solution framing, and drive the development of architectural capabilities across the organization.
About You | Mōu
You’re a strategic and visionary leader with proven experience in managing teams and driving strategic vision. You should have deep expertise in architectural domains and be able to align business strategies with architectural decisions. Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills are essential, as well as a solid understanding of Solution Architecture, TOGAF, and technology frameworks.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant IT qualification and architecture certification, with experience in Enterprise and Solution Architecture. You should also have a strong grasp of business processes, security frameworks, and IT systems, along with excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities.
