About this role
As a Commis Chef, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, assisting with food preparation, cooking, and plating. You’ll work closely with senior chefs, developing your culinary skills while ensuring the highest standards of presentation and quality.

This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in a high-end kitchen environment, with plenty of room for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are prepped and ready for service
• Support senior chefs with cooking and plating dishes to high presentation standards
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety, following best practices and lodge standards
• Help with stock management, ensuring ingredients are stored correctly and supplies are well-stocked
• We are a collaborative team who love to bounce ideas and suggestions off each other – we succeed together
• With an open kitchen, there is plenty of opportunity to interact and engage with our amazing guests.

What you will bring

• Some experience in a professional kitchen or relevant culinary training
• A strong willingness to learn and grow within a team
• Great attention to detail and time management skills
• A passion for high-quality food and presentation
• Ability to engage with our guests
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
