At Civic Waste we're a long standing supplier of services to NZ cities. We contract to Councils and Private Companies for waste removal, road/hard surface sweeping, removing graffiti, water blasting, pavement cleaning and more!

We require confident drivers with a Class 4 licence to join our Hamilton team as multi-skilled drivers / operators, driving both Class 2 and Class 4 trucks.

This role is working in Hamilton (rural and urban roads) however you must be flexible to work across the Waikato district when required.

Your main duties will be to drive our Sumper Truck (with an assistant), as well as learn to operate our other specialised Sweeper Truck. Experience in driving and operating these vehicles/machines is not required (as full training will be given). Experience in more than delivery driving is required.

This is a full-time role, 45 hours per week. You must also be willing to learn all aspects of the work that we do.

As well as the Class 4 licence, our successful applicant will have the following:

• Be aware of and adhere to H&S requirements
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Physically fit and presentable
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Good time management & communication skills
