BestStart Te Heu Heu is a warm and welcoming centre in the heart of Taupō’s CBD, right next to The Garden Café and Jetts Fitness. Licensed for 50 children aged 2-5, we embrace a play-based curriculum that nurtures each child’s unique strengths, passions, and individuality. About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly, organised Centre Administrator to join our close-knit team and help ensure the smooth running of our centre! This is a part-time (25 hours per week, Monday to Friday) role, with flexible hours to accommodate school hours.
As our Centre Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our centre. Your responsibilities will include managing bookings, processing parent accounts and payments, and providing outstanding customer service to whānau. You will handle data entry, respond to enrolment enquiries, and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. You will also have the opportunity to engage with tamariki from time to time, making this role both rewarding and diverse.
Role Requirements:
Team player with excellent communication skills
Organised and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Proficient in Excel, Word & Outlook
Customer-focused with a friendly and professional approach
Experience in accounts or administration is an advantage
