Te Wero - The Challenge

As an Infrastructure Support Officer, you will be a vital part of our Infrastructure group, providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including:

  • Financial Management: Assisting with budget tracking, expense reporting, and financial documentation to support the group's fiscal responsibilities.
  • Diary Management: Coordinating schedules, arranging appointments, and managing calendars to optimize time and productivity for team members.
  • Meeting and Workshop Support: Organising and facilitating meetings and workshops, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring all logistical details are handled.
  • Information Management: Maintaining and organising records, databases, and documentation to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
  • General Support: Providing a range of administrative assistance across the group, addressing ad-hoc requests, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

We're seeking a candidate who brings:

  • NZQA Qualification or Administrative Experience:Demonstrated expertise in administrative tasks or relevant qualifications.
  • High Level of Accuracy and Attention to Detail:Precision in handling tasks and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Effective Communication Skills:Proficiency in interacting with various departments and external organisations, including clients, suppliers, and regulators.
  • Independent and Team Work Abilities:Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong Organisational Skills:Excellent ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Collaboration and Communication Proficiency:Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Tikanga Māori:Understanding and appreciation of Māori customs and practices is highly desirable.
  • Progressive Mindset: Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Relationship Building Skills:Ability to establish and maintain strong, positive relationships.
