Join our amazing team as a Registered Teacher! As a kaiako with us, you will help foster a love for learning in a supportive and inclusive environment. With our focus on building strong relationships and creating a sense of belonging, you will help pave the way for lifelong success for our tamariki!

About us

At Busy Bees Pakuranga, we believe that as an early learning, we have an important part to play in our local community and a very special opportunity to positively impact the lives of our young tamariki in their early stages of development. We promote the development of active and confident learners who think, question, seek information and apply knowledge to the best of their ability. We have a beautiful large outdoor space, with age-appropriate areas. All of our rooms are well-resourced for the development of each age group.

What we’re looking for:

  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • Genuine care and love for the well-being and development of tamariki
  • A personality that fosters and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whānau
  • Abundant reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum, and regular and emergent reviews
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whānau
  • A creative mind capable of inspiring and igniting curiosity!
