The Role:

The National Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring all projects meet stringent quality standards and compliance requirements. This position involves developing and managing quality control systems, conducting audits, and mentoring a team of Quality Engineers to achieve project excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control systems and manage digital tools such as Visibuild and ConQA.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO9001 certification.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to Quality Engineers.
  • Deliver training programs on quality standards and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed quality documentation and monitor subcontractor performance


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry in New Zealand.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, materials, and modern construction practices.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing digital quality management systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and driving continuous improvement.
