About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions with a strong focus on integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, applying your technical expertise to support delivery and ensure adherence to best practices.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions.
• Support cross-functional teams with technical expertise.
• Ensure adherence to software architecture and best practices.
• Work with Azure services and frameworks like Node.js.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and best practices.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and Blob Storage.
• Proficiency in frameworks like Node.js.
• Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with AWS services such as Cognito, Lambda, S3 Buckets, CloudFront, Route 53, GraphQL, EC2 Instances, and AppSync.
• Experienced in Test-Driven Development (TDD) with strong proficiency in writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Essential knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, including proficiency with tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
