We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Wellington team. As the Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects – delivering them safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You’ll be leading motivated teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and ensuring operational excellence from tendering through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, programming and delivery of key civil infrastructure projects
- Promoting a Zero Harm environment, ensuring H & S policies and procedures are followed
- Overseeing the allocation of people, plant, technology and resources to achieve outcomes
- Develop and improve systems and processes
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Assist in development and implementation of procurement strategies
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- Project and/or Contract Management experience in Civil Engineering
- Strategic thinking and an ability to problem solve and implement initiatives
- Strong understanding of contract delivery, financial management and team development
- A proven track record developing a culture that supports business excellence
- High levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to get the best out of your team
- Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualification is beneficial but not necessary
