Our Commercial Operations Group are a financial ‘supermarket’ offering our Co-op a pick n mix of solutions across commercial finance, store ownership, funding, financial planning & management, data analysis & reporting, accounting & transactional services including payroll, AR & AP & master data solutions.
Te Tūranga – About the role
- A newly created senior opportunity within our Finance Solutions Team here at Foodies, will have you using your problem solving, analysis and finance systems knowledge to support the wider Finance Group.
- Acting as a Leader within the team, you will work collaboratively across the business, recommending appropriate changes in process/approach to ensure our delivery is exceptional.
This is a chunky role working with multiple stakeholders and we will need you to:
- Contribute to our continued leadership around Finance functional design, processes, strategy, reporting and systems
- Work collaboratively with the wider team responsible for developing and maintaining financial reporting requirements and processes
- Question the status quo and propose practical solutions
- Create, implement and maintain robust internal controls within the financial systems
- Embed a continuous improvement culture and methodology within the team to ensure ongoing improvements for process efficiency and customer service
- Provide training and support to financial systems users who have varying levels of knowledge
He kōrero mōu - About you
Key for us is that you will have had previous experience working with financial management software and accounting systems – ideally SAP and or OneStream. Accounting knowledge (qualification or experience) is required.
You will analyse issues logically, clearly articulating them to the appropriate parties, setting out clear actions required or options available. You will ensure clear direction, understanding and accountability is taken for issues within the business.
We are a large, complex organisation and bringing your experience from similar will set you up well. You will have experience working in a large organisation with complex enterprise systems.
