Mō te tūranga | About the Role
A highly experienced Programme Manager is required to manage a programme of work spanning the following key areas:

  • Banking / FI related platform and system upgrades / changes
  • Transfer Pricing, balance sheet management and product pricing settings and controls
  • Risk and compliance related impacts on the above including RWA settings and controls


Key responsibilities include:

  • Programme Planning and Execution. Managing complex enterprise-wide programmes and initiatives within agreed scope, time, cost and quality from initial identification, refinement of the requirements, scope and solution design, to delivery of change and embedding in the business and IT ensuring alignment with wider delivery plans and priorities.
  • Delivery Framework and Governance. Ensuring programme adheres to all internal policies and standards, reporting meets Transformation Office requirements and maintaining compliant initiative governance and reporting management.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Engagement. Working with internal business and project stakeholders, vendors and third parties to ensure successful delivery of programme and ensure open and frequent lines of visibility to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Resource Management. Ensuring the programme is resourced correctly, sponsors are engaged and aware of progress and all risks to delivery are identified and managed.
  • Risk and Issue Management. Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues to minimise impact on programme delivery and outcomes. Develop risk management strategies and monitor and escalate to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Financial Management. Manage programme budget and forecasting and ensure financial accountability and transparency.
  • Guide and mentor Delivery Leads, Programme Coordinators and specialised project resource through the project lifecycle.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within the scope of role as required.


Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • 7+ years Programme Management experience with a finance focus or background and a strong pedigree of delivering financial projects in highly complex and regulated envionments. You will have a significant advantage if you have banking experience.
  • Experience fielding challenge and direction from multiple GM's Expert leve stakeholder management will be key to success in this role
  • Enterprise wide engagement and impact consideration
  • Strong experience managing cross border delivery, coorrdinating on/offshore teams and stakeholders
