About the role

We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at Whangarei Park Village in Whangarei on a 7-month fixed term contract from 1st March to 30th September 2025.

The role is for 40 hours a week - mixed shifts

We offer top hourly rates and incredible allowances

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
  • Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively with other team members
  • Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
  • Provide compassionate and high-level care.


About you
You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:

  • Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
  • Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
  • InterRai qualification is desirable.
  • Up to date knowledge of wound care management
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • You are a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
