Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a local engineering firm. This can be on a temporary or long term basis depending on availability.

Key tasks:

  • Read and understand all drawings
  • Heavy fabrication
  • Heavy mechanical fitting
  • MIG Flux Core and Stick welding - FCAW & SMAW
  • Some TIG welding - aluminium and stainless steel
  • Working to tight deadlines


Skills & attributes required:

  • Minimum 3 year's experience in heavy mechanical engineering
  • Be a competent Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
  • Ability to work unsupervised and complete a task from start to finish alone
  • Ability to fabricate accurately from technical drawings
  • A strong commitment to Health & Safety
