Senior Transactional Solutions Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a solution-oriented person who is a driver of change to join our Institutional Transactional Banking team.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
Your core responsibility will be developing an understanding of our clients’ businesses, allowing you to design and deliver initiatives that make a material difference. Based in our office in Auckland, you will work with both existing and new to bank clients in delivering transactional solutions and finding efficiency gains for both clients and the Bank. Working with senior management and delivery teams, you will be trusted as a subject matter expert who can deliver tangible value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for developing transactional banking solutions that deliver valve to both our customers and Westpac
- Managing customer engagements where you’ll take the initiative to identify and execute opportunities that add value to our customer’s business
- Collaborating within Westpac and our customer’s business to identify and deliver market-leading solutions that support improvements in receivables, payables and working capital processes
- Building and managing a pipeline of customer initiatives to maximize organisational value by aligning with our customers, their customers and supplies.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
- Growing and strengthening the business through financial performance to drive the right outcomes
- Identifying and driving new to bank opportunities through leads initiation and networking
- Contract & customer pricing negotiations
- Responding to, and working with customers on RFP's

- Proven customer management experience with business customers at various levels while being able to work in an ever-changing environment
- Proven experience with complex customers across Transactional Banking and Payments
- Problem solving and driving change
- Ability to work remotely across geographic teams and as part of a virtual team
- You are commercial, with experience working in the operation of businesses, which you use to develop and present solutions that meet your client’s needs.
