Job Description
Te kowhiringa | The Opportunity
Downer is the largest provider of services to asset owners in New Zealand. As a leading utilities provider in New Zealand, we are a partner of choice for cities, rural communities and industries. Delivering efficient and safe water supply to 1.25 million Kiwis while focusing on creating community benefits that are sustainable, innovative, cost-effective and provide value to all stakeholders.
The purpose of these positions is to assist the crew in performing planned and reactive maintenance on Auckland's water, wastewater, and stormwater networks, including pump stations and more!
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
You will have a great attitude, be reliable and hardworking and will bring with you:
- A full driver's licence and class 2 HT licence preferred
- Minimum 2 year’s experience preferably involved in water, wastewater and stormwater
- Or experience in a similar industry such as plumbing, civil, farming, landscaping
- Traffic management skills TC and or STMS trained would be an advantage
- Current confined space entry would be an advantage
- Strong focus on Health and Safety
