Te Tūranga – About the role
The LNI Network Manager is a senior leader within the Lower North Island (LNI) Supply Chain team, responsible for ensuring operational excellence, safety, and strategic planning in freight and logistics for Foodstuffs North Island. This role plays a critical part in delivering world-class service to stakeholders and optimizing network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
· Safety and operational leadership of despatch teams, Depot sites and managed carriers.
· Manage LNI SC key J2Z metrics - DOT, CPC, Utilisation, Microlise Compliance, POD Compliance and ULD Recovery.
· Regular review of the LNI SC Network, including linehaul/PF/secondary/DC vs. Depot components.
· Modelling future logistics required with SOS changes, together with reviewing and aligning commodity utilisation.
· Regular review of master schedule/delivery windows to ensure DOT can be met, safely and efficiently.
· Analyse and recommend network changes, driving continuous improvement and looking at what else is possible; and
· Lead a wider team of 80 dedicated professionals and five direct reports, building a high level of engagement.

He kōrero mōu - About you
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain management, with strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset. They must be adept at operational planning, stakeholder management, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:
· Minimum of 6 years of experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain (FMCG preferred).
· Strong planning and analytical skills, with the ability to optimize network performance and financial outcomes.
· Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to engage and develop teams.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
· Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
