We need a Business Excellence Manager who has an entrepreneurial mindset to help us take DairySmart to the next level.

We're empowering farmers and vets and tackling antibiotic resistance head-on with our innovative testing and diagnostic system. Our tech includes patented sampling tools, an RFID tracking system and AI-powered image analysis of our proprietary culture plates. Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):
As Business Excellence Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences. You'll be the go-to person for using your IT skills, your passion for data and AI, and your eye for detail to optimise our entire business. You will embrace new challenges with gusto and be comfortable with the unknown, while also having the ability to identify and focus on those things that deliver high value to the business and prioritise ruthlessly on delivering on the things that drive substantial business rewards. With our CEO spending more time in International markets you will ensure the continued growth and success of the NZ business.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
• Operations Guru: Oversee logistics, product development and distribution, and customer support, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You'll develop and implement streamlined processes, leveraging AI and digital tech to improve speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Champion: Be a key point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive top-notch support and communication. You’ll collect and track customer feedback and proactively address their needs using our CRM and other systems.
• Data Detective: Mine data from various sources to uncover actionable insights that drive our business forward. You’ll present your findings in crystal clear reports that help our team and customers improve and make smarter decisions.
• System Architect: Build and maintain user-friendly business systems, ensuring our tech is always up-to-date, high-performing, and meeting the needs of our teams. You'll also be responsible for training team members on these new tools.
• Collaboration Catalyst: Work closely with our Regional Sales Managers, marketing teams, and the CEO to support their activities.
• Project Master: You will manage your projects with meticulous attention to detail, hitting all deadlines and keeping everyone in the loop.
What You Bring to the Table:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years experience in operations or account management, ideally in a tech-driven/start-up environment.
• Jedi-level IT skills, with a deep understanding of AI, CRM systems, and digital tools.
• A passion for efficiency, with a knack for creating user-friendly systems.
• A deep understanding of data, and ability to make it accessible and actionable for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and work independently.
• An A+ in GSD (Getting Shit Done).
• You really enjoy problem-solving and creating solutions
• You are tech-savvy with a desire to continuously improve systems and processes.
Bonus Points:
• Experience in agri-tech, technology, or logistics industries.
• Familiarity with AI tools for business efficiency.
• Strong project management experience.
