Job Description

We are currently seekinga person for our busyButchery here at PAK'n SAVE Whangarei. We have an excellent team culture with a friendly and fun environment. This is a full-time, permanent role that includes one day on the weekend.

The Role:
Our Butchery Assistants are responsible for ensuring our butchery case looks like the business, is full, fresh & appealing to our customers. You'll be responsible for efficiently packing & labelling meat and assisting our customers with their queries. In time, you'll develop product knowledge through the training we provide, but you'll need to bring the passion for hard work, service excellence & pride in your work.

To be successful in this position, you'll need to be:

  • Friendly, approachable and have excellent customer service skills
  • A great team player who is willing to go the extra mile for their colleagues
  • Physically fit & strong - there'll be some heavy lifting involved & you'll be on your feet all shift
  • Hardworking, committed & reliable
  • Happy to work in a cold environment
  • Flexible to work extra hours if required
