The Corporate Development Programme Manager partners with various business units to develop and execute strategic initiatives, financial models, and key projects that will drive our business forward and help shape the future of our organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, this role will be at the forefront of our company's growth, working closely with various departments to develop business cases, lead key projects, and provide analytical support.

This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and evaluate strategic business cases
  • Mentor Project Business Leads to determine strategic fit, alternatives, scope, resources, timeline, and cross-functional implications of the business case
  • Lead and participate in key projects, including sustainability initiatives, capital restructuring, new product commercialisation and more
  • Provide analytical support and develop financial models to inform decision-making
  • Create and maintain low to mid-level complexity models
  • Work with the Business Project Lead to facilitate workshops and ensure effective project prioritisation and resource allocation
  • Develop strong relationships across the industry and act as a trusted business partner
  • Carry out project assessment, decision making, workload allocation, and manage relationships with both the Executive and Board in the absence of the Head of Corporate Development.

We are looking for an individual with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business growth. They will also have:

  • A degree-level qualification in business, commerce, or accountancy
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a commercial organisation
  • Workshop facilitation and collaborative brainstorming experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE) and experience in agile methodologies (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the kiwifruit industry (advantageous).
