Job Description

Working with the AA | Me mahi tahi tatou ki AA

For over 120 years, the AA has been helping Kiwis on their adventures! Today, we're one of New Zealand's most respected and trusted brands. From our humble beginnings as a motoring enthusiast's club, the New Zealand AA (Automobile Association) has grown into a large, dynamic organisation offering many services and products to more than 1.8 million Members. As we continue this growth journey, we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Coordinator to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

The Digital Coordinator will support the Digital Marketing & Initiatives team in executing and optimizing digital campaigns across channels like Search, Social, Display, and Email Marketing. Key responsibilities include campaign execution, performance tracking using analytics platforms, conducting research for audience segmentation and trends, and providing recommendations to improve results. You’ll assist with content management, database maintenance, and frontline team support for customer queries. You will also track digital channel performance, help manage work priorities, ensure adherence to processes, and contribute to knowledge management. The role includes personal development through training and industry events.

About You | Mōu

Key to your success in this role is your exceptional attention to detail and strong drive to produce high-quality work. You will be highly numerate, with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions. A tech-savvy individual with a passion for understanding and utilizing digital platforms is essential, along with strong planning and organizational skills, the ability to thrive under pressure, and manage competing priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as the role involves explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Experience or certifications in digital marketing platforms will be an advantage, but are not essential. This is a true development opportunity, so what’s more important is your proactivity and eagerness to learn and continuously develop your skills in the digital marketing field.
