Our client is a leading steel processing company that specialise in the delivery of integrated steel solutions. They provide pressing, rolling and profiling services to different industries all throughout New Zealand.
We have an excellent opportunity that currently exists for an experienced Profile Operator to join our vibrant team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Operate Laser/ Plasma machines
Identify and pick steel product
Bevel and drill material
Maintain machine efficiency
Operate overhead gantry cranes
Load and unload material on the cutting table
Set up machines and perform pre-start procedures
Interpret part drawings
Follow detailed work instructions
General housekeeping
To be successful, you will have:
Previous experience operating laser and plasma machines
Sound knowledge of warehousing and machine operations
Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
