Full Job Description

This is a full-time role based in Christchurch as an Asbestos Removalist with a leading provider of asbestos removal company. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal of asbestos-containing materials from a variety of buildings and structures.

What you'll be doing

  • Carefully and thoroughly removing asbestos-containing materials from a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential properties.
  • Transporting and disposing of asbestos waste in accordance with all relevant environmental regulations and legislation.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout the removal process.
  • Documenting all asbestos removal activities and providing detailed reports to clients.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and successful project delivery.
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).


What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an asbestos removalist or in a similar construction/trades role.
  • Excellent knowledge of asbestos removal techniques and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Current asbestos removal certification and a valid driver's license.
