About the Role At Hutt City Council, we believe that wellbeing and belonging are at the heart of a thriving workplace.
We're looking for a passionate and strategic Wellbeing Advisor to lead and deliver our Wellbeing & Belonging Framework—ensuring our people feel supported, connected, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work.
What You'll Do As our Wellbeing Advisor, you'll take a holistic, preventative, and strategic approach to employee wellbeing.
This means:
Leading the development and delivery of our Wellbeing & Belonging Framework
Creating and delivering initiatives that support psychological and physical wellbeing, and contribute to the holistic wellbeing of our people
Using data-driven insights to measure and improve the impact of our wellbeing initiatives
Managing relationships with key wellbeing providers
Facilitating training sessions, webinars, and events to promote a culture of wellbeing
Collaborating with HR, Health & Safety, and senior leaders to integrate wellbeing across the organisation.
About You We need someone with strong Organisational Development (OD) experience, great project management skills, and a passion for fostering workplace wellbeing.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
5+ years of experience in Organisational Development, Health & Safety, or Wellbeing roles
Strong strategic thinking and project management abilities
Proven ability to develop and deliver holistic wellbeing programmes and initiatives
Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive and innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement.
