He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

Join our dynamic team at Victoria University of Wellington - Weir House as a Driver. In this role, you'll be responsible for completing daily driving tasks safely and punctually, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to our safety culture. This is a Permanent Part Time position during the Weekend

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles under operational conditions, adhering to all road and parking rules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining the quality and condition of goods.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance, keeping vehicles clean and refueled.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety plans.
  • Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and Executive Chef to address potential issues.


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with good communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • A flexible approach and attitude, being a good team player.
  • Physically fit and reliable with a valid driver's license.
  • Customer service experience and the ability to undertake non-technical maintenance tasks are highly regarded.
