Our client is looking for a general laborer in the water/drainage industry who wants to learn and upskill with a supportive team. The current role available is based in Banks Peninsula so living out there is a must as work is local.
This role involves:
Actively repairing and maintaining the water reticulation networks in the area through servicing all valves and hydrants
Installing water main pipes and/or connections and repairing leaks
Service pipes and connections on a scheduled and reactive basis
Qualifications:
Must be Strong and Fit
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
Strong work ethic and punctuality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Full Class 1 (must) Class 2 (preferred)
WTR (bonus)
You MUST be able to pass a drug test and complete all required checks for this role.
Full training given and upskilling will be provided for the right motivated candidate with licenses (class2/WTR) and further training.
