Te Tūranga – About the role:
We’re looking for a Senior SAP Functional Consultant to join our Enterprise Systems Team. You’ll play a key role in delivering user-focused SAP solutions that enhance business outcomes and streamline operations. Your expertise in system enablement (business process analysis, configuration, functional design, testing, training, documentation, and support) will be crucial. Agility is at our core, and you’ll work with cutting-edge tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Consult & Advise – Be the go-to SAP expert, guiding stakeholders with the best solutions and staying ahead of SAP updates.
- Drive Business Outcomes – Collaborate with business owners to solve challenges and optimize operations using your SAP knowledge.
- Configuration & Customisation – Configure SAP modules (especially S/4HANA Finance & Fiori) in line with best practices and industry standards.
- Coach & Lead – Mentor SAP functionals, providing guidance on both technical and consulting skills.
- Collaborate – Work closely with technical teams to implement seamless SAP integrations, ensuring a clean-core approach.
- User-Focused Design – Ensure SAP solutions are intuitive and aligned with UX principles for a seamless user experience.
- Train & Support – Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure smooth post-implementation operations.
- Embrace Agility – Operate in a fast-paced, agile environment, delivering quick, high-quality solutions.

He kōrero mōu - About You
Are you a SAP expert with a passion for Finance and Fiori? Do you love working on cutting-edge solutions that make a real impact? If so, we want you on our team! With 8+ years of SAP experience, you’ll bring deep expertise in SAP Finance modules (S/4HANA Finance with Fiori, GL, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) and a drive for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- SAP Certification – A recognized SAP certification in Finance or a related area.
- Proven experience as an SAP Senior Finance Functional Consultant – across all aspects of the system enablement implementation process, including business process analysis, configuration, functional design, testing, end-user training, documentation, and production support.
- Cross-functional expertise – Strong knowledge of PS, MM, SD (Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes) and experience with WRICEF developments.
- Leadership skills – A natural mentor who can coach others, provide recommendations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Agile mindset – Adaptable and experienced in agile methodologies like SCRUM or SAFe, with hands-on knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Problem-solving wizardry – Analytical skills to identify challenges and proactively navigate roadblocks.
Bonus Points for:
Experience in retail, ABAP debugging, REFX, OpenText VIM.
Knowledge of IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, and BADIs.
