Senior Contracts Specialist

Job Description

This position assists in administration of contracts and client related contractual activities.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate redlines of client initiated agreements, draft new customized agreements
  • Oversight of Contract Management Platform to ensure all systems are up to date with current agreements/requirements and templates
  • Liaise with clients during the contract process to review questions or concerns regarding terms and conditions that have been redlined by client in standard agreement prior to VP approval of contract redlines.
  • Provide summary to Manager weekly on agreements under review and status
  • Approve monthly contract audit prior to submission to other stakeholders
  • Report to Manager additional contractual obligations (clearances etc.) as per contractual and/or regulatory requirements
  • Approve AC verification tasks to ensure correct configuration based on contractual obligations
  • Create monthly reports of special contractual terms and conditions for VP
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Knowledge of laws and/or regulations in area of compliance (HIPAA, CMS, TJC, etc.)
  • 3 years' experience in drafting and redlining contracts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
