Job Description

Hours of work: Part time, approximately 20 hours per week

Note: Radius Care cannot support a work visa for this role.

About the Role:

Assist with sorting, washing, drying and folding, and ensure that our residential aged care facility residents receive their clean, folded clothes in a timely manner. Ensure the facility is ship-shape, clean and hygienic. Provide an efficient, effective cleaning service. Help create a comfortable, healthy environment for residents, while considering their wellbeing and individual needs.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with all laundry processing, i.e. sorting, washing to correct cycle, drying and folding
  • Following the laundry task list per facility policy
  • Cleaning resident and communal areas
  • Utilising appropriate infection control measures
  • Restocking paper products, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene items
  • Ensuring that all tasks and check lists are completed and signed-off
