Job Description

The Role

Work in a food-related retail store alongside a small team. Your core work will involve:

  • General customer service
  • Operating checkout
  • Shop maintenance and stock replenishment
  • Occasionally collecting and preparing orders for dispatch


Days & Hours
Saturdays
8:30 am - 5:00pm

Skills and Attributes

  • Previous experience in retail is preferred but not essential.
  • People-friendly with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25kgs due to the type of products needing to be restocked.
  • You will be required to do a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a Ministry of Justice background check.

The Company
Our client has more than 50 years of service to the New Zealand food industry. It is a 100% NZ Owned Company that started as our small local food distributor. They now specialise in supplying local and international food to our businesses and communities.
