A friendly, music-loving man with a disability is looking for a companion to bring more rhythm into his week. He’s independent, chatty, and always up for a good tune. His favourites? Cliff Richard, The Hollies, and classic ‘60s hits! He plays the drums, ukulele, guitar, and harmonica—and would love a musical mate to jam with, talk music, or just enjoy a great playlist together.
We’re looking for someone who:
🎸 Shares his love for music—whether you play, sing, or just appreciate great tunes.
🎤 Can help him get out and about, from visiting the Rock Shop to catching a live gig.
🎶 Has patience, kindness, and a good sense of fun—no disability experience required.
This role is more than just music—it’s about helping him set social boundaries, navigate appointments (like haircuts), and build connections in his community. Expect regular coffee shop visits, cat café hangouts, and the occasional concert outing! A full licence and a car is needed to help you with these outings.
The Details:
🕒 6 hours per week (2-3 visits, ideally in the afternoons)
🎵 Some extra weekend hours when his parents are out of town.
🎼 Flexible schedule, but reliability is key!
