Job Description:

As a junior warehouse operator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations. From managing inventory to ensuring timely dispatch, your efforts will help our client deliver excellent service to their customers. Our client in Christchurch is looking for a dedicated person, preferably with forklift certification and experience, to work with them.

About the role:
Duties and responsibilities could include, but not be limited to:

  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently (valid certification required).
  • Unloading containers, receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
  • Picking and packing orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manual lifting up to 20kg.
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Reading, understanding, and working with stock codes and quantities.
  • Completing and maintaining all relevant warehouse documentation.



About You:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics preferable
  • Team Player with great attention to detail
  • Well presented, well spoken and customer focussed
  • Valid forklift certification and experience would be ideal
  • Warehousing and stock control experience
  • Data capturing
  • Physically fit, able to be on your feet most of the day and do manual tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Drug free
  • Clean criminal record
  • Committed and taking pride in your work


This role requires candidates who are NZ residents or citizens, or have unrestricted rights to live and work in New Zealand.
