He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

Join our team at Victoria University of Wellington as a Driver. This is a Permanent Full Time position rostered from Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for completing daily allocated driving tasks in a safe manner, ensuring punctuality and adherence to safety protocols.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles under operational conditions, following all road and parking rules.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in the same condition as they left the Production Kitchen.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicles in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and Executive Chef regarding any potential issues.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service.

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach and attitude, hardworking, physically fit, and reliable.
  • Valid driver's license.
