Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Grow your career as an Electrician/Electrical fitter within our team based in Matamata– whether you have previous HV experience, or if you are looking for a change from domestic work – we can provide training.

You will be responsible for the Installation and technical maintenance of electrical equipment including Substations, Transformers, Switchgear, Regulators, and other associated network equipment.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Relevant EWRB registration and practising licence
  • Current Class 1 driver’s licence (and Class 2 preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of electrical test equipment, systems and procedures
  • Electricity Industry experience
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical stamina to carry out manual work, often in trying conditions
