We are on the lookout for a registered kaiako to join our team at Busy Bees Ashburton! Our centre is a warm, welcoming space where tamariki feel loved, nurtured, and inspired to learn.

Our teachers provide quality education and childcare in a stimulating environment that will contribute to their successful future. Our early education centre welcomes tamariki and their whānau, and we strive to support children to develop into capable learners with a strong cultural identity. Conveniently located just down the road from Ashburton Netherby School, we're easy to find and within a short travelling distance to Ashburton Domain.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
  • Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
  • A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
  • An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
  • A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
  • The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
  • Excellent communication skills
