About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a Contract Administrator for Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit reporting to the Project Data Manager. As the Contract Administrator, you will support the Downer Auckland Stormwater team in achieving their contractual and business objectives. You will be based at our Albany office, and your primary responsibilities will include administering contract variations, overseeing service activity claims reconciliation, invoicing, job costing, reporting, and forecasting. Additionally, you will ensure that all contract administration functions are executed to a consistently high standard while adhering to company policies.

Day to day your duties will include:

  • Processing of Purchase Orders, Invoices and Payments
  • Assisting in administrating the delivery of contract services to our clients
  • Updating of jobs and processing of claims
  • Implement organisation and improvement of data filing and data capture systems
  • Assisting in the production of financial /KPI/monthly reports
  • Job management and data entry
  • Other general office administration as required


About You

  • Experience within Contract Administration
  • Sound finance understanding
  • Exceptional skills in both written and verbal communication
  • Skilled in organizing and prioritizing tasks to manage time more effectively
  • Attention to detail is essential
