Our client is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of areas including commercial property, business transactions, and Māori Land. What you'll do:
- Representing landlords and property owners in commercial property matters.
- Managing residential, commercial, and rural property transactions.
- Specialising in rural property, particularly within the kiwifruit sector.
- Overseeing the sale and purchase of businesses and shares.
- Advising on business structuring, with an emphasis on shareholder agreements and succession planning.
- Handling subdivisions, including private, commercial, and industrial developments.
- Engaging in Local Authority matters.
- Specialising in commercial activities and property transactions involving Māori Land.
What you bring:
- NZ-qualified lawyer with over 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Solid property experience with a proven understanding of commercial matters; knowledge in trust and estate planning is a plus.
- Client-focused with a commitment to delivering meaningful value in every interaction.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and technical abilities.
- Approachable, collaborative, and personable when working with others.
